The Vulcan Bomber was one the RAF's V Bombers, designed as part of the UK's nuclear deterrent. Stationed at airfields along the east coast, they were always ready to respond to any threat, becoming airborne in minutes and capable of carrying nuclear weapons thousands of miles. Thankfully they were never used for this purpose but did see action during the Falklands conflict in the early 1980s's.
